This private cosy hideaway is a two bedroom home that is set on a lovely sunny hillside section. It has stunning views from the north and south facing decks and main living areas overlooking Hanmer Springs Village and the lovely garden setting. When you take two steps down from the hallway access it opens up to the lounge with a TV, video, DVD player and complimentary wifi, a kitchen well equipped with a microwave, fridge/freezer and filter coffee machine and the dining area that is all heated by a log fire. There is also a deck along the front with great views. Bedroom one has a queen bed with an electric blanket and bedroom two 2 single beds. There is electric heaters to keep you nice and warm in the bedrooms. The sun room is great for one to sit back and relax with a good book and enjoy some peace and quiet. There is also a laundry with a washing machine. Please note there is a steep access driveway going down from the roadside to a covered carport for your vehicle and may not be suited for low cars or trailers. Please note: this home provides a wheelie bin for your rubbish requirements.

Hanmer Springs is a lovely small village set in an alpine environment on the edge of the Southern Alps in the South Island of New Zealand. The village is located at an altitude of approximately 400 metres (1300 feet). This provides a crisp clear climate, with snow falling during winter on several occasions. The geothermal nature of the area has provided the beautiful Thermal Springs Reserve in which to relax, and it is second to none other in New Zealand. The combination of the colder climate and the thermal pools normally sitting at 25-42 degrees Celsius, or 77-18 degrees Fahrenheit is both invigorating and relaxing. The lucky guests get to soak in the thermal pools when it is snowing (for no extra charge) - how lucky are they?
