This home is the ultimate getaway! The home has everything you need to relax and unwind. Sit back with a glass of wine on the front deck, and take in the stunning view of the mountains or chill out in the garage for a few games of Ping Pong. This place is the perfect spot for family to reconnect and enjoy Hanmer Springs. There is a couple of lovely walks that you can take to get into the center of the village that only take 20 minutes. The garage is the ultimate spot for all! Have a few friendly games of table tennis, or darts. Or enjoy a beer at the bar after a long day mountain biking. There are bike rakes and a station,along with access to a hose to wash down after being in the forest. **Note there is an additional fridge/freezer in the garage area at this property to make life easier for large groups**

Neighbourhood information

Hanmer Springs is a lovely small village set in an alpine environment on the edge of the Southern Alps in the South Island of New Zealand. The village is located at an altitude of approximately 400 metres (1300 feet). This provides a crisp clear climate, with snow falling during winter on several occasions. The geothermal nature of the area has provided the beautiful Thermal Springs Reserve in which to relax, and it is second to none other in New Zealand. The combination of the colder climate and the thermal pools normally sitting at 25-42 degrees Celsius, or 77-18 degrees Fahrenheit is both invigorating and relaxing. The lucky guests get to soak in the thermal pools when it is snowing (for no extra charge) - how lucky are they?
