Located in the heart of Hanmer Springs (a short 3-5-minute walk to the Thermal Pools and Spa and Hanmer Springs Golf Club is just across the road), sits 5 Chisholm Crescent. It is a beautifully presented luxury four-bedroom home that can sleep up to 8 people, making an ideal base for families or a group of friends to come together on a Hanmer Springs escape. Built over two levels, the hub of the home (on the second level) is an open plan living, dining and fully equipped contemporary kitchen which is drenched in sunlight. This all opens out to a balcony on either side of the house, complete with outdoor furniture and a BBQ (gas bottle can be hired from the office). Warmed by a log fire, heat pump, electric heating and double glazing throughout, this home is a perfect haven to enjoy a winters night in with family and friends. The property is also has a 7KW EV charger in the garage, simply bring along your cable to connect to a type 2 socket.

Neighbourhood information

Hanmer Springs is a lovely small village set in an alpine environment on the edge of the Southern Alps in the South Island of New Zealand. The village is located at an altitude of approximately 400 metres (1300 feet). This provides a crisp clear climate, with snow falling during winter on several occasions. The geothermal nature of the area has provided the beautiful Thermal Springs Reserve in which to relax, and it is second to none other in New Zealand. The combination of the colder climate and the thermal pools normally sitting at 25-42 degrees Celsius, or 77-18 degrees Fahrenheit is both invigorating and relaxing. The lucky guests get to soak in the thermal pools when it is snowing (for no extra charge) - how lucky are they?
