Relax and enjoy your break in this fully renovated warm and sunny character cottage in the central village. Very close to the pools and cafes, this property offers a unique opportunity to spend time enjoying all that Hanmer has to offer. This family friendly house has a fully equipped kitchen and laundry, spacious living area with Sky TV, complimentary unlimited Wi-Fi and Chromecast for you to enjoy on the 55 inch Smart TV and sound bar. A heat pump opening out onto an expansive deck area for entertaining with a BBQ (Gas bottle hire is not required as the BBQ is connected to the main gas supply). The three bedrooms inside the main house consist of a master with queen bed and ensuite, the second has two single beds and the third bedroom has a king bed that can be split into two singles and a main bathroom. Adjoining is a fully self-contained studio unit, with a queen bed, fridge, an I-pod dock for music, and microwave plus an ensuite bathroom. Please note the daily price per night listed is for the house only with the option to add the studio on at an additional amount per night. There is flat access to the home and the section is fully fenced. This property is completely pet and smoke free.

Neighbourhood information

Hanmer Springs is a lovely small village set in an alpine environment on the edge of the Southern Alps in the South Island of New Zealand. The village is located at an altitude of approximately 400 metres (1300 feet). This provides a crisp clear climate, with snow falling during winter on several occasions. The geothermal nature of the area has provided the beautiful Thermal Springs Reserve in which to relax, and it is second to none other in New Zealand. The combination of the colder climate and the thermal pools normally sitting at 25-42 degrees Celsius, or 77-18 degrees Fahrenheit is both invigorating and relaxing. The lucky guests get to soak in the thermal pools when it is snowing (for no extra charge) - how lucky are they?
