Welcome to Casa Riviera, located in a secure, gated property, 2 minutes drive from Battle Hill Park , The Lodge at the Inlet, 5 minutes from Pauatahanui Village & Inlet, 15 minutes from Porirua City and 30 minutes from Wellington City. This tastefully designed guesthouse overlooks a peaceful river, home to native NZ eels, Muscovy and Orpington Ducks, is surrounded by native trees teaming with birdlife including Tui, Wood Pigeon (Kereru) , Fantail (Piwakawaka), Bellbird (Korimako) and Morepork (Ruru). Breakfast items including bread, spreads, tea, coffee and milk on arrival. Friendly dog, alpacas, sheep, minature donkey, chickens and ducks that are all happy to say hello and come over for a cuddle and a treat! Fully fenced, private outdoor patio with couches, trees teaming with native bird life and the idyllic sounds of the river below. 2 bedrooms with queen beds (one can be converted to 2 single beds), 1 bathroom and kitchen. Flatscreen LCD TV with Sky TV, DVD player with large selection of DVD's, bluetooth connected Bose stereo system, wifi and a heat pump. Kitchen is equipped with mini refrigerator, microwave oven, electric frypan, induction hotplate, toaster and washer/dryer. All crockery, utensils and glassware provided. A BBQ is provided for your use. Ample parking (including for horse float, camper van and trailer) and option for horse grazing in securely fenced paddock with water trough.
We live on site and are available if you need assistance but otherwise say hello and keep our distance.
Casa Riviera is a free standing guesthouse located rurally on 3 acres on the Paekakariki Hill Road, 5 minutes from the historic Pauatahanui Village, 2 minutes drive from Battle Hill and 15 minutes from the beautiful beaches of the Kapiti Coast.
