Set in the Centre of Christchurch, City Stay is just a 15 minute drive from the airport and a 10 minute walk to the City Center. When staying, you'll have a private bathroom, access to a full kitchen/lounge area and laundry. Linen, towels, soaps, washing powder for Laundry, breakfast cereals, Tea & Coffee and access to the WIFI is provided. The guest stay bedroom is located on the ground floor of the property and so is the bathroom this means guests have their privacy when they want it and if they want to socialize or learn about Christchurch eg good places to eat/what to get up to while your here or travel tips for Aotearoa New Zealand then the host is usually around for a chat. The kitchen/Lounge is on the first floor, and is always open. There is an empty shelf in the pantry, Fridge, and freezer for guests to store their provisions. I'm available via text message or phone call for any questions regarding amenities eg; operating the dishwasher, washing machine or heater in the room. I enjoy hosting and making sure every guest gets the most out of their stay in Christchurch :)

Myself (Paige) & cat Maisy are the hosts, I also have a flatmate who lives at the property, but not in the main house. I am originally from Ireland and moved to NZ in 2004, I lived in Nelson (top of the South Island) until 2018 when I then made the move to Christchurch (with a couple of years of travel in-between). I enjoy hosting and meeting all different types of guests from various walks of life. Maisy, being a very affectionate cat, also enjoys all the attention. We welcome anyone who stays to make themselves at home.

Salisbury Street is located very close to the heart of the city with Hagley Park a straight 10 minute walk down the road and the City's famous Cathedral a 10 minute in the other direction leading you to the City Centre. Salisbury has free street parking (rare in the city). During the working week/hours, finding a park can be a pain as people working in the city take advantage of the free parking. The street parking is safe with only one incident in the last 5 years I've lived here. The house is down a driveway away from street noise, the house is double glazed aswell to help with any noise (usually a pretty quite street anyway).
