「Doug was awesome, Ramsay was cute and the hosts were great. We had everything we needed. Everything was clean and tidy and it was very quiet. We we're told to help ourselves to anything out of the hot houses if we wanted it. Would stay again」

This is a purpose built private self contained Apartment next door to our home overlooking the Linger and Die reserve. There is a direct view of the Alexandra iconic clock on the hill. You will be close to all amenities with walking tracks at your doorstep. We are only a few minutes to all biking tracks including the Rail trail, Dunstan and Clutha trail and for the more adventurous Matangi mountain bike park. The Alexandra Basin has some great wineries that are easily reached by bike if it is a couple of days of leisure that you are after.
Owen and I both have a love of gardening, walking, biking and the outdoors in general. We are always happy to answer any questions about this region. We share our home with a cat called Ramsay and a dog called Doug.
Alexandra is a popular holiday destination particularly in summer when the weather is usually good. The Clutha River and Lake Dunstan are popular for water sports and fishing alike.
Those that love the outdoors enjoy the areas unique environment for walking and cycling with most tracks accessible free of charge.
Central Stories is worth a visit and houses a great little museum with lots of information on the early gold digging days.
The historic township of Clyde is a 10minute drive or easily biked to via the river track along the side of the Clutha river.
