This inviting property offers a comfortable and convenient base for exploring the picturesque village centre, local attractions, and surrounding countryside. It is perfect for couples, small families, or friends.
Inside, you’ll find two spacious bedrooms with built-in wardrobes, providing ample storage and comfort. The classic bathroom has both a bath and a shower. The open-plan living and dining area is bright and welcoming, offering a relaxed space to unwind after a day of sightseeing. The original kitchen is equipped with the basics for meal preparation and cooking.
A short drive, or 10-15 minute walk away, you will find boutique shops, numerous bars, cafés and restaurants in the Village, along with a large New World supermarket.
Outside, you can enjoy the sunny, private and fully fenced garden. The back porch is the perfect spot for a coffee in the morning or an evening glass of wine. Off-street parking for 2 cars is available at the rear entrance of the property.
Less than a 5 minute walk are the beautiful gardens of historic Duart House. An entrance to the Te Mata Park is approximately a 30-minute walk, or 5 minute drive, to its car park. Here you will find many walking and cycling tracks including those to the Redwoods and the Peak.
Please note parking is available at the back of the driveway. The property is clearly marked with its name, Duart Haven, for easy identification. Please do not park in the shared note a bond may be charged at certain times of the year. One of our team members will contact you if this is required for your booking.

Hastings city, known as the “Fruit Bowl of New Zealand,” is just a 5–10 minute drive away and hosts the Hawkes Bay Farmers Market every Sunday with over 100 stalls of local produce. Nearby, the recently restored Toitoi Arts and Events Centre, Hastings Distillery, cafés, and restaurants await. The Art Deco city of Napier is about 20 minutes’ drive, offering the waterfront, Soundshell, Sunken Gardens, Masonic Hotel, and National Aquarium. Hawkes Bay features over 100 wineries, cellar doors, and restaurants, with summer concerts and beautiful vineyard views.
