Kia ora! We are a family of five who are lucky enough to call Queenstown home, I grew up in Queenstown and we are both involved in the tourism and hospitality industry. We are a keen outdoorsy family who live and breathe mountains. We are avid skiers, golfers, bikers, walkers and explorers. We love spending time on our lake and enjoy what Queenstown and the stunning surrounding landscape has to offer (which is lots!) We LOVE travelling, and equally LOVE hosting traveler's keen to explore our fantastic region. Come stay and share this beautiful slice of paradise with us!
Our space is good for couples, business, or solo travellers. Smart TV with Netflix and a Chrome-cast so you can cast you own apps, fridge, microwave, coffee, tea, etc supplied. Spacious bathroom with underfloor tiled heating. Private courtyard and BBQ with cook plate & grill. The washing machine and clothes dryer are located adjacent to the unit in the garage. East Rock is on a lakefront location giving access to the lovely beaches of Lake Wakatipu on the Cecil Peak side of Kelvin Heights. The Guest suite is attached to the garage of our family home but is a separate dwelling from the house.
Kelvin Heights is nestled on the shores of Lake Wakatipu and is popular with locals and visitors. It is commonly referred to as one of the best and most desirable areas to live in New Zealand. It possesses amazing views, easy access to the lake and trails, and is only a 14 km drive to Queenstown or a few minutes by water ferry. Relax or stroll to Jardine Park or the lake Lunch or coffee at the Queenstown golf course is an easy walk. 2-minute walk to the Bus stop or 10 10-minute walk to catch the water ferry into Queenstown 14 km from the centre of Queenstown Great lakefront walks and biking trails on your doorstep
