RiverSong Housetruck (The Gypsy Moth) is an original vintage 1953 Commer with a rustic well travelled charm. It was once a travelling stone carving studio.
RiverSong Caravan (The Glow Worm) is a beautifully restored vintage retro caravan.
Glow Worms can be seen shining across the river at night from both rooms.
Guests have access to a large grass area next to the stream. Enjoy the beautiful Native Bush walk across the river which also leads to a glow worm grotto at night.
We follow sustainable principles, the shared kitchen / shower facility is built using timber and stone resources from the land. Well equipped with fridge / freezer, 4 burner gas hob and plenty of cooking equipment. This is located 30 metres from the 2 separate / private accommodation rooms.
Herbal tea made from herbs grown on the property. Espresso & french press coffee from local Golden Bay Roasters.
Composting toilet next to the vegetable garden, 50 metres from the kitchen / shower area, well lit at night.
This self sufficient lifestyle block has large vegetable and herb gardens, chickens and black sheep. Guests are welcome to pick fruit from the plentiful trees when ripe.
