We have poured our hearts into creating a little oasis for guests to stay. Personally we love the space and we hope that you will enjoy it too.
We are a large busy family and as such are out and about at work, school and play. We value our home time together too. Our younger ones are still at that boisterous age and so we apologize if sometimes their little feet thump about too much.
We are available to answer questions if needed but really we hope that you will find all you need within the flat.
There is plenty for everyone to enjoy here in Richmond. The town centre offers a variety of shopping outlets and eateries spread amongst Queen Street and the Richmond Mall. If you venture a little further toward Appleby, you’ll discover art studios, a country store, a guinea pig village, a cheese shop and the Speedway.
The Richmond Ranges are a great place for hiking and mountain biking, or if you’re after a more casual afternoon walk, a two hour return stroll to Whispering Falls is a must. Kaiteriteri, Nelson Lakes, Abel Tasman and Kahurangi National Parks are also close at hand. Nelson city is only 15 minutes away by bus or car.
A cycle ride along Tasman’s Great Taste Trail will take you past vineyards, craft breweries, cafes and art studios and promises a great day out. Enjoy some of the regions most scenic urban and coastal areas and if you hop on the cycle ferry at Rabbit Island you can even venture further across to the little village of Mapua.
In the evening visit the Sprig and Fern or Eddyline for a slice of wood-fired pizza and sample some of our region's famous craft beers.
All in all your stay here in Richmond can be as busy or as relaxing as you want it to be.
