Whangaroa is a not very well-known harbour, and is a truly unspoilt paradise. Steep bush-clad slopes come right down to the water''s edge, and there are plenty of private inlets and bays to explore, and spend the day away from reality. There are also bushwalks to be explored, and only kilometres away is some of the best game fishing in New Zealand.
