This Retreat is located right on the beach in the lovely Pukerua Bay Village, with beautiful views of Kapiti Island. If you want to take a break from the city rush or just want to relax and enjoy a break, this is the place for you. Go for a walk on the beach or enjoy the rock pools. Grab the kayaks and go for a paddle and get close to the Stingrays playing in the late afternoon sun, only meters away from the rocky beach.
We are located just off SH59, 30 minutes drive to Wellington City and Ferry terminal. Only a 15 minute walk to the train station, if you prefer to go shopping, go to Westpac Stadium or the ferry and not get caught up in the traffic.
If you want to go walking on one of the 2 trails that start in Pukerua Bay.
Escarpment track from Pukerua Bay to Paekakariki (10km), take train back to Pukerua Bay.
Coastal walk from Pukerua Bay to Plimmerton(10km) and take the train back to Pukerua Bay.
