Lake Kaniere Lodge is situated 20 minutes east of Hokitika in a Scenic Reserve at the south end of Lake Kaniere and all Scenic Reserve rules must be respected. Parties can travel via the Lakeside Drive or through Kokatahi. The Lodge accommodates up to 40 individuals (in two 17-person bunk rooms and two 3-person quarters) and has most modern appliances, excluding cell phone reception and internet access. Users need to supply their own bedding.

During your stay, should you have any questions please contact Lodge Custodians Julie and Adrian Gardner, 432 Upper Kokatahi Road. If you have booked through Airbnb, please use the Airbnb App to communicate, where possible. Keys A code to access the gate and lockbox for the key for the Lodge will be issued on confirmation and full payment of the booking. The code and key may not be shared with anyone other than the authorised group person, and must be returned at the completion of your hire. Please ensure all windows are shut, doors are locked and the gate is shut and locked behind you at the end of your hire. The easiest way to check is to walk around the outside of the Lodge and attempt to open the doors.
