Situated in Acacia Bay, Lake Taupo, with beautiful views of Lake Taupo is our spacious downstairs two bedroom apartment. Set in a quiet safe area, it consists of a large studio queen bedroom (open to living area) and a second bedroom with super king bed (can be converted to king singles by prior request). The apartment has a large living area including lounge/dining/kitchen, full private bathroom and laundry. Great indoor/outdoor living, with access to a spa pool. Your hosts live upstairs. The accommodation is in the downstairs, separate part of our house and is fully self contained with its own entrance. All living/sleeping areas have a view to the lake. Amenities include a smart TV, free unlimited fast wifi, a private outdoor patio and garden area with 180deg views to the lake. The kitchen is well equipped with stove, oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee machine, coffee plunger, electric jug, dishwasher, dishes, cutlery, pots and pans, electric frypan, toaster, water glasses, wine glasses, tea pot (and more). Coffee ,Tea and fresh milk starter pack supplied, also herbs, pepper, salt, sugar,cooking oil. A modern spa pool housed in a sheltered gazebo is available until 2130.

Having lived in many parts of the world including Asia, USA and Europe and having traveled extensively we have a good appreciation of what international travelers expect. Acacia Bay is a quiet, safe, leafy neighbourhood with nearby walks and cycle tracks. It is very popular for boating, swimming, mountain biking and kayaking . Our local bistro is a 5 minute walk down the road for meals and pizzas! We overlook the lake, which can be reached by a 10 - 15 minute walk where there is a beautiful walk around the lake edge. The drive to Taupo is 6 kms and it takes around 10 minutes. There is also a cycle track to Taupo which takes around 20 minutes. Taupo offers a diverse range of attractions including bungy jumps, sky diving, river rafting, trout fishing, boat trips, golf, mountain biking, thermal attractions, hiking and in winter is about 1.5 hours from the nearest ski field.
