Our property offers a self-contained space on the ground floor of our home, with a completely private entrance. We live upstairs, so guests can enjoy both independence and peace of mind, coming and going as they please. The studio features a comfortable king-size bed, a cosy lounge area, modern bathroom, fully equipped kitchenette, and a brand-new 43" TV. The kitchenette includes a sink, fridge, air fryer, large electric fry pan, cooking utensils, dinnerware, cutlery, glasses, toaster, toasted sandwich maker, blender, kettle, and complimentary tea and coffee. We also have the option of a second bedroom for extra guests. This room is connected to the main room by an internal door, which we can either leave open or lock, depending on your booking. Guests can enjoy unlimited Wi-Fi, perfect for streaming, working, or staying connected, or simply switch off and relax for a true getaway. Location is one of our greatest features. With off-street parking provided, you can leave your car behind and walk everywhere. The beach, harbour, Mount Maunganui, shops, restaurants, and cinema are all just a short stroll away. Mount Maunganui is famous for its stunning beach and relaxed coastal vibe, enjoying some of the best weather in New Zealand. While the Christmas and New Year period is the busiest, the area has a mild, enjoyable climate year-round. Both the ocean beach and the harbour provide safe swimming options. For extra safety, we recommend swimming between the flags at the ocean beach, where lifeguards are on duty during summer. Just 2 km from our place, you’ll find the base track and summit walk around Mauao (the Mount), one of New Zealand’s most popular short walks with incredible views. For shopping, dining, and cafés, the main street is less than 500 m away, perfect for a leisurely stroll.
