An hour's drive from Christchurch, your journey to the Pōhue PurePod starts with a scenic drive around Banks Peninsula past Charteris Bay and Diamond Harbour, then up over the hill above Purau. Once your car is securely parked, take your light bag or backpack and follow the signs as the walkway winds up the hill for 1.2km to reveal your PurePod nestled in the most stunning surroundings. With views reaching out across Port Levy there is nothing left but to enjoy your unforgettable experience. The PurePod provides all your needs, from a fabulous shower and flush toilet to fresh linen and a well-equipped kitchen with a gas hob and barbecue. We also offer tea, coffee, and milk. Enjoy games, local books, and stargazing with a telescope. Relax in luxury camp chairs on the deck or lounge in the comfortable bed while nature entertains you.

Banks Peninsula offers a variety of breathtaking walks, all with stunning vistas. Explore on foot and take the time to soak in the beauty of the region. Explore the ocean and wildlife. Akaroa Harbour is home to fur seals, penguins, dolphins and seabirds. A fantastic way to experience this is jumping on an Akaroa Dolphin boat tour. A Shamarra Alpacas Farm Tour is an unparalleled opportunity to get up close and personal with alpacas, learn about this loving animal, and create some memories in a stunning location.
