Larger groups up to 12 people can also take advantage of "The Retreat - Luxury Hillside Villa at Te Ngaere" which is a separate additional luxury private villa on site which sleeps 4 - Book both houses if available.

Te Koha is cleverly designed for all seasons with multiple living spaces to entertain and relax both inside and out. Gather in the large living area in front of the wood burning fireplace in winter or enjoy the cool and airy indoor/outdoor flow in summer.
Create your culinary delights in a fully equipped kitchen, including a wine fridge, coffee machine and grinder, double oven, and appliances; or take your cooking outside to the barbeque and outdoor dining area.
Four large bedrooms each with a luxury ensuite bathroom have access to a private area of Te Koha’s wrap-around deck. Twin configuration of beds can be made up in two of these bedrooms if requested.
Each room has the latest retractable insect screens fitted to provide you with cool breezes at night, sounds of the ocean while keeping the bugs out.
Your comfort is our priority with comfortable mattresses, Egyptian cotton sheets, fluffy towels, bath robes and luxury toiletries.

The renowned Kauri Cliffs Golf Course with its fine dining restaurant is a 12 minutes’ drive away.
For something more relaxed after a day at the beach, 'fish and chips' are a fine tradition - order at the Matauri Bay Top shop, or at the Whangaroa Fishing Club (a 10 minute drive).
Mahinepua peninsula walking track (2 hours round trip) with stunning views of the sea, beaches, rocks and islands.

Walk to the Rainbow Warrior Memorial at Matauri Bay (20 minutes DOC walking track, up the hill beyond the campground)
The Packhouse market in Kerikeri on Saturdays for food stalls, produce, gifts and crafts, live music. This is popular and gathers a crowd of locals and tourists.
On Sunday there is a smaller market at the packhouse and another artisan market in the Post office carpark.
