The Oaks is one of the original homes in Featherston -and its all yours during your stay. Take a step back in time and enjoy the unique and special ambiance of this lovely piece of history. Just a short walk to Featherston township with all it has to offer and a short drive to Greytown, Martinborough, wineries, the Pinnacles and the Remutakas. You get to share The Oaks with Missy, our resident cat. She is shy of strangers but she will pop in and out of the house at her leisure. This property has 2 bedrooms downstairs, 2 lounges, 1 dining room, 1 full kitchen( and 1 full bathroom and 1 ensuite toilet. The sofa bed is in the second lounge. The extra beds (foldaway or luxury airbed) can be placed in the bedrooms. The upstairs is not available at this stage.

Featherston is the gateway to the Wairarapa. Situated only 60 minutes from Wellington (30 minutes from Upper Hutt) and 15 minutes from Greytown and Martinborough, it is perfectly placed to access all that the Wairarapa has to offer from wineries, shopping, eateries, boutique stores, etc. Also perfectly placed for wedding venues and the Remutaka Incline. The property is easily accessed if using public transport like buses and trains. Just one street in from the main road and shops, The Oaks is ideally suited if you are using public transport like bus and train. The train statíon is within easy walking distance. Cars and bikes are also good modes of transport but you need to provide your own. Taxis are available.
