The Shepherds hut is set in beautiful private grounds beside a pond . The pond level changes with the seasons, being full during Winter and Spring months. The hot tub is under weeping willows beside the pond offering breathtaking views of the stars on a clear night. Luxurious bathrobes are provided for the bath experience . Outdoor beanbags can also be provided .
A true off grid experience, there is the ability to charge your phone but that is all. The idea is to kick back relax and unwind.
Welcome to the Shepherds Hut at Waiata. We love to ensure our guests have the ultimate off grid experience. Your comfort is our priority. I love gardening, travelling and meeting new people . I am also a wedding celebrant and hold small weddings on the property. You will not be disturbed during your stay , your privacy is our priority.
Lovely quiet rural neighborhood just 4kms outside of Hanmer Springs known for its thermal pools, mountain biking , walking , shopping and eateries .
