Mentioned plants have since been growing in the Waiheke Island guest house atrium! Every day here is better than the last one. So whenever you see Carlee or Nicky, they're literally having the best day of their lives! It's our pleasure to help guests have a great trip. Every hundred customers or so we meet a guest who wished they had stayed in a 5 star resort with all the extras. We respect these guests as we do all our valued customers. If a cooked breakfast with fresh fruit and easy entry access is your preference, our place may not be for you. Located in a peaceful setting, Waiheke Island Guesthouse offers free WiFi and free roadside parking. Guests can enjoy an onsite forest, large lawn and deck area. We also have chickens and cats roaming around the guesthouse. Host area is sectioned off from the guesthouse. Please note: *Most Waiheke driveways have long steep driveways. The Guesthouse has one of these driveways. We advise guests bringing vehicles to reverse down the drive to unload luggage and then park up the top of the road on the left of the driveway. The guesthouse entrance is then down a shingle pathway and set of steps downhill. *If you have mobility issues our driveway and path to the guesthouse will not be suitable *Rooms Aroha and Tui share a bathroom Pukeko room has its own bathroom all bathrooms are located on the bottom floor next to the front door. Bathrooms are not in guests rooms. *All rooms share a kitchen, please respect other guests' food in the fridge and please clean your own dishes. Breakfast includes basic cereals (rices and cornflakes) Coffee, Teas, Milk, Tinned fruit and cold water are available for guest house self catering use. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, mini oven, toaster, microwave and stove top. Plates, cutlery, pots and frypans are also available in the kitchen for use. *Reception check in is available from 1pm-5pm. Self check in is available however this will need to be requested at least 2 hours before check in. Please text Carlee or send a message for self check in details *Locals manage their own water and waste systems so preventing misuse of both resources is important to all islanders. Our showers are not on mains pressure meaning shower pressure is low

Waiheke map/info sheets are available to all guests and are located in the foyer *Waiheke Island is a popular wine-tasting destination, and there are several wineries within 3 km of the property, including Stonyridge, Obsidian and Cassita Miro. *The Guest House is a 20 minute walk from the local supermarket or 7 minute uphill walk from the bus stop If taking the bus from Matiatia please catch the 502 bus located outside the ferry terminal. Get off the bus at the stop 1176. To the Mataitai ferry the bus stop is on the other side of the road stop 1197. Time tables are in the foyer. *Palm beach is our closest beach, a 20 minute walk from the guest house. *The guesthouse offers luxury van tours for guests, which take in island sights and vineyards.
