SASY Santa Catalina is a place created with heart, intention, and the simple dream of building a home away from home. It was founded by Panamanian owners who one day looked at this peaceful corner of Santa Catalina and said, “Let’s create something beautiful, warm, and honest—something that feels like us.”
Almost everything you’ll see here carries a story. We built our spaces using as many recycled and natural materials as possible, adding personal touches to every corner. Each cabin, each path, and each detail reflects who we are and the love we put into this project.
Although Santa Catalina welcomes people from all over the world, SASY is proudly Panamanian. Our menu, our cabins, our design, and especially our team are rooted in local culture. We believe in keeping the essence of Panama alive—its flavors, its simplicity, and its warmth.
Our goal is that every guest feels truly welcomed and cared for. We don’t just want you to enjoy the beauty of the beaches, nature, and our installations—we want you to leave with the memory of how kind and genuine Panamanians can be.
At SASY, we offer a calm, homey atmosphere where you can disconnect, breathe, and enjoy a space created with love, respect for nature, and a deep sense of identity.
Martín is a young Panamanian host who genuinely loves the essence of this place and everything it represents. For him, SASY Santa Catalina is not just a project —it is a living space filled with intention, stories, and people who arrive from all around the world. What he enjoys most is meeting guests, learning from them, and creating an atmosphere where everyone feels at home.
Martín cares deeply about the comfort of each person who stays with us. He always encourages guests to reach out if something feels off, unusual, or simply not right —even if it has nothing to do with the accommodation itself. For him, the well-being of the people who come here, and the people who live in Santa Catalina, always matters.
He is not perfect, and he will be the first one to admit it. Among his imperfections is that he talks a lot, asks many questions, and is always curious to know more about you. But that same warmth is what makes the experience personal and sincere.
Martín never sees guests as clients. To him, they are visitors who chose to spend part of their journey in a place he deeply loves. His intention is simple: to make you feel comfortable, relaxed, safe, and welcome —and to help make your experience in Santa Catalina as enjoyable and affordable as possible.
