About the Neighborhood – Rímac, Lima
Our studio is located in Rímac, a traditional and historic neighborhood right next to Lima’s Historic Center. This area was once known as “barrio bajo el puente” and is full of stories, character, and cultural heritage.
You’ll be staying in an authentic part of the city, away from the tourist crowds but still just 6 minutes by mototaxi to the Lima Cathedral and Plaza de Armas.
Nearby, you can explore the Paseo de los Descalzos, a peaceful historic walkway with beautiful gardens and colonial charm.
The area is well connected by public transport, including the blue bus corridors 301 and 305, and is just a short ride to museums, churches, and many of Lima’s most iconic landmarks.
Stay in Rímac to experience a more local and historical side of Lima!
