Sea and Sun 4 You - Porto Moniz, is located in the centre of Porto Moniz. In the village you can visit The Natural Pools of Porto Moniz, one of the biggest tourist attractions on the island. The Natural Pools have a great attraction due to being formed by erupting volcanoes and composed by salt water. The Porto Moniz Aquarium which has a beautiful history, where they protected our ancestors against pirate attacks and rebuilt this place, transforming it into a beautiful Aquarium with very rare species. The Museum "Centro Ciência Viva" where you will find out a lot about our mountains and hills, you will also explore the species found in the "Laurissilva" which is Madeira's most beautiful and well-known mountain range. In the City of Funchal you can visit Old funchal (old town), farmers market, Funchal Cathedral, CR7 museum and other museums, Madeira Casino, Madeira Congress Centre, Santa Catarina Park, Funchal Marina, Funchal Botanical Garden. You can take the cable car to Monte and visit the Monte Palace Tropical Garden and Church of Our Lady of Monte (18th century) and go down on a wicker sledge ride known as Monte Toboggans. You can also take a guided Tuk Tuk tour, a hop-on hop-off bus ride from Funchal to Câmara de Lobos, dolphin and whale watching by catamaran, or a guided 4X4 safari tour on a private tour around Madeira Island.
