Enjoy a fully equipped private room in the small Hamlet of "Corte Figueira Mendonça" in the Hills of "Serra do Caldeirão" in Southern Portugal, about 50mins drive from Faro Airport and the famous Algarve Beaches. The room has a comfy king-size bed, wardrobe, designated work desk, armchair and a window offering natural light. The bathroom is shared with the host, always kept clean. The living room, kitchen and terraced garden are great areas to have some restful times and to get to know my guests. In the terraced garden you can enjoy the usual local good weather in the company of my pets (dog, cats and hens). Although there isn't a pool yet, you'll be able to refresh yourself in the outdoor shower if you wish. Breakfast is included, you will be able to choose from a regular "Continental", Porridge or some delicious fresh eggs “given" by my hens, check out the Breakfast Pictures. I've been a Qualified Massage Therapist for over 15years and have a treatment room in the property, where I can offer my guests a different range of Professional Massages and Body Sugaring (Epilation with Sugar Paste). All the guests, that stay over 5 nights will be entitled to one free Massage Treatment.

I'm Ricardo, I’m Portuguese but have lived in London for almost 20 years. Recently moved back to this small hamlet in the hills of Southern Portugal, Serra do Caldeirão. I've been a Qualified Massage Therapist since 2009. I have a dog, with whom I do 10km+ hiking every day in the hills of Serra do Caldeirão. I also have 2 cats and 6 hens. I love keeping fit. Always trying to improve my gardening skills.

Outside, you'll be able to adventure on lots of local hiking trails, where my dog will be very happy to follow you. There are no shops in the Hamlet of “Corte Figueira Mendonça” but at a 20mins drive you’ll find the charming Village of Almodôvar, where you’ll be able to find some local restaurants, cafes and supermarket. You will also be able to find some Museums, Churches and a 17th century Convent, where you can learn about the local’s costumes and traditions.
