Dory, my beloved Volkswagen Transporter Westfalia, is a dream motorhome, hand-painted by an international artist. It attracts glances wherever it goes, thanks to its unique charm and character. Although it's an older model and lacks some modern amenities, Dory offers a nostalgic and cozy experience.🩵🐟 The space Kitchen: Fully equipped with stove, fridge, sink and coffee machine. We provide plates, cutlery, glasses, thermal covers, blankets, heating and a fan. WC with chemical toilet, shower and washbasin. Capacity: Accommodates 6 adults with travel seat belts and sleeps 4 comfortably. Room for eating and playing games. Outside, there is an awning, table with four benches, two chairs, and a picnic basket for four people. Extras: Bed linen, crockery, towels, outdoor table and solar panels for maximum energy. Guest access Dory also has a practical ladder at the rear that gives access to the top of the vehicle. This ladder is ideal for climbing up to enjoy the views, take incredible photos and relax🌴 Other things to bear in mind A security deposit of 750 euros is required. If you book with pets, a bed and food bags are included. It is also possible to request a tent for 2 more people with sleeping bags at no extra cost.
There’s a certain magic in the open road—the way it unravels before you, infinite and full of possibility. The hum of the engine, the ever-changing horizon, the quiet moments of stillness in between. Travel isn’t just about moving from one place to another; it’s about being completely present, untethered from the past, unburdened by the future. Somewhere along the way, a deep appreciation for this way of living took root. Eckhart Tolle’s words—Wherever you are, be whole.—became more than just a quote; they became a guiding principle. A reminder that every journey is as much about the inner world as the outer one. For the past two years, this campervan has been more than just a vehicle. It has been a trusted companion, a space of quiet reflection, of simple joys, of deep breaths taken in the crisp morning air. It has carried me through landscapes both vast and intimate, always offering the same gift: the chance to be fully here, now. Perhaps that’s what this kind of travel is really about—not just seeing new places, but seeing them fully. Stepping away from the rush and into the rhythm of the present moment. Wherever the road takes you, may you find yourself exactly where you need to be.
Belém is one of the most charming and historic areas of Lisbon, known for its breathtaking riverside views, rich cultural heritage, and delicious food. Visitors love strolling along the waterfront, where they can admire iconic landmarks like the Belém Tower and the Padrão dos Descobrimentos, both symbols of Portugal’s Age of Discoveries. Just a short walk away, the Jerónimos Monastery impresses with its stunning Manueline architecture, and nearby, the Museum of Art, Architecture, and Technology offers a modern contrast with its innovative exhibitions. For history lovers, the National Coche Museum is a unique stop, showcasing beautifully preserved royal carriages. Of course, no visit to Belém is complete without tasting the world-famous **Pastéis de Belém**, the original and most beloved Portuguese custard tarts. The area is also home to fantastic seafood restaurants and traditional Portuguese eateries, perfect for enjoying a relaxing meal by the river. With its blend of history, culture, and great food, Belém is not just a beautiful place to visit—it’s an ideal starting point for an unforgettable journey in Sally
