At QUINTA DOS CAPUCHOS, CASA da ADEGA is a home of the owners' great-grandparents which has been restored, with stone walls and interiors in a partition. It stands out the original kitchen, with contemporary equipment and equipped with an old chimney, like the beams of the ceiling, in cork oak. It has a living room, a bedroom, a bathroom and kitchen with access to a balcony from where you can see the Santa Thereza vineyard and Alcobaça ciity. The whole house is set in a framework of environmental sustainability, with interior and exterior walls lined with lime and solar energy. It can accommodate 2 adults in a room with two beds (or double bed) and 1 adult or 2 children on a sofa bed. There are dining table in the living room, antique chairs with cheetah of Alcobaça and a red couch, in a cozy set.. It has satellite TV in the living room and free WIFI internet. Guests can enjoy a large shared pool which has access to the side of the vineyard (90 meters) from the house. From 1 September to 15 October there are noises originating from the movement of people and machinery due to harvesting. We are close to Nazaré beach (10 km) and São Martinho beach (22 km).
We are a small wine company that loves receiving its guests and clients and sharing knowledge and endogenous experiences. For our guests we offer basic breakfast ingredients only on the day of check-in, and during the stay we offer an enotouristic experience 45' with visit to the vineyard and wine cellar and finish with 3 wines tasting.
The Adega House is close to the Capuchos Convent, and about 3km. of the Monastery of Santa Maria de Alcobaça. In the area you can visit the Windmill of the Ardido, the Azenhas of water of Chiqueda, visit to orchards and the Cheese of the Valley, as well as visit to the vineyards of Quinta dos Capuchos and to make walks.
