Unique view over the bay of Funchal, with a view of the harbour! Attention: very narrow street with only 1.75 metres of passage! Therefore you can only reach the accommodation with a small car like Fiat 500, Renault Twingo etc.!

When we visited this paradise in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean for the first time in 2021, we immediately fell in love with this island and its friendly people. Madeira is unique for anyone who appreciates tranquillity and a friendly, lively atmosphere, a pleasant climate and lots of green nature and, of course, good food and gentle sea breezes. We do too and have found this beautiful house in a fantastic location and with pleasant privacy - and of course we use it ourselves often and with pleasure. We look forward to welcoming you to our holiday home in Funchal. The name of the house means "house on the rock". You will soon realise why it bears this name. The house is in a quiet location, offers you a relaxing garden with terrace and a stunning view over Funchal out to sea. At the same time, the beautiful old town of Funchal with its winding alleyways, street cafés, small and large shops, churches and market squares, restaurants and of course the harbour is within walking distance and only a quarter of an hour away. Casa dos Arrifes was completely renovated inside and out in 2023/24 and lovingly furnished for you. We hope that you will feel at home here.
