LOCAL Activities: Paragliding - has become quite famous in Madeira because of the fabulous views and beautiful locations. One of the great locations for this sport is Arco da Calheta - 10mins from Casa Vista do Ledo - because of it’s frequent good flying conditions all year round. WALKING / HIKING - Our villa is located near some of the best and most beautiful Levada walks on the island - Rabaçal and 25 Fontes (waterfalls). DIVING- A great place to go diving is off the coast of the small village of Madelena do Mar which is 10mins - 15mins drive from Casa Vista do Ledo. The BEACH and MARINA area offers plenty of sports activities to, from water sport rentals, dolphin spotting trips, to beach Volleyball. BIG GAME FISHING - the Marina in Calheta has some very good companies which specialise in Big Game Fishing. WHALE & DOLPHIN Watching - Down in the Marina you will also find a couple of excellent companies which specialise in boat trips to see the wild Dolphins and Whales off the local coast.
