We are a couple of teachers who decided to rebuilt the property in 2011 and make a rural tourism. We like to meet people and their different cultures. Welcome.

Property information

Monte da Fonte Santa de São Luís is a rural tourism located a 10-minute drive from the city of Castelo Branco. It offers bedrooms and a small house equippeds with air conditioning, private bathroom, hairdryer, free WIFI, TV and mini bar. There is also a shared kitchen with: coffe machine, cooker, dishwasher and crokery. A buffet breakfast is served daily, rich in regional and homemade products. There is a small swimming pool which offers refreshing moments for everyone. Enjoy a properly signposted walking tour and see the medieval graves and the apiary. Our animals are the donkey Cacau, his sheep friends, the cat Orelhas and his family. At night there is a marvellous starry sky to gaze at. Our rural tourism is committed to sustainability, which is why we ask you to collaborate with us. Welcome.

In the city of Castelo Branco you can visit the following monuments: the Cargaleiro Museum, the Contemporary Culture Center, the garden of the Episcopal Palace, the Miradouro, the Barrocal Park and so on. A few km away, discover the históric and chist villages, the river beaches or you can do a boat trip in Tagus river. In winter you can go to the Estrela mountains.
