Welcome to the historic town of Silves and our recently renovated townhouse! Enjoy the peace of a secluded garden with old stone walls and fruit trees. Explore a charming town on your doorstep. Nature walks, in the hills, begin only a kilometer away. To the South a short 15 km drive brings you to some beautiful beaches, cliffs and villages.
The property consists of two guest houses. Each house has a private terrace but also shares a garden and common courtyard.
Hello. I am Thyl (pronounced "Teel"). In 2017 I moved to live in Silves, Portugal. I have always loved this warm cosy place and the friendly relaxed people.
During the tourist season I guide and drive jeep and boat tours from Silves, with special rates for guests.
In the calmer months I am an artist painter and enjoy the sunny hills and seascapes with their vivid colours.
Belgian by nationality, but of mixed origin, I can help you in English, French, Dutch and Portuguese.
Happy to respect your privacy but also keen to help and share my local knowledge when needed.
Most of the time I live in the house next door on the street.
You may not see much of me but I am available when needed, happy to chat and share my local knowledge.
Thyl’s home is located in Silves, Faro, Portugal.
