The area is not completely isolated. There are a few houses nearby, local café/ Restaurant / convenience store ( 5 minute walk ) . It is a very safe area and from the house you can take beautiful scenic hikes along the cliffs of Cabo Espichel. There is also a local bus service from the house to Sesimbra, not very regular, but good enough if you want to visit Sesimbra . The local beach , PRAIA DA FOZ, is a 20 minute hike along lovely countryside. All other beaches can be reached preferably by car and it takes between 10 and 15 minutes to get to them.
