Marchanta is situated on the banks of the River Tejo. The Camino trail passes the door. There are 4 hotel rooms which come with breakfast and 3 self- catering apartments. All rooms are ensuite and have TV, free Wifi and tea and coffee. Guests can enjoy the swimming pool, chapel, free bikes, play billiard and table tennis and use the barbeque. River trips in our own boats are available. There is an equestrian centre with horses and ponies. Enquire in advance about riding lessons. We are 20km form the Gothic town of Santarem. There nearest airport is Lisbon 66km away. The nearest train station is Reguengo 4km away, just 35 minutes on the train from Oriente Station.
