Upon your arrival, a member of our team will be waiting for you in the apartment. We will provide you with all the necessary instructions and some tips about the city, just ask. Along with the initial email containing arrival instructions, we will also send you a city tour guide. You will have our phone numbers, so if you encounter any problems or need any recommendations during your stay (restaurants, museums, etc.), we can assist you. In case of any issues in the apartment, we kindly ask our guests to inform us by 7 pm so we have time to resolve them. In addition to these apartments, Portas do Sol has restaurants where you will be entitled to promotions and discounts. All our guests will have discounts and promotions in our restaurants. Located in a 19th-century building, next to Lisbon Cathedral (12th century) and the Church of Santo António (built on the spot where Saint Anthony of Padua was born in 1191), these self-catering apartments are situated in Alfama, near Baixa/Chiado, in the heart of the old city, in an area that dates back to the 12th century. With a combination of antique and modern decor and parquet floors, these spacious 100 m² apartments feature fully equipped kitchens with modern appliances, double bedrooms, dining areas, living rooms with flat-screen cable TV, bathrooms, heating, and free Wi-Fi.

After your reservation we will give you a tourist guide with the most well known places in Lisbon and some places outside the touristic routes. The apartments are located in a 19th century building, next to the Lisbon's Cathedral (12th century) and the Santo António's Church (located in the place where Santo António de Pádua was born in 1191) in the center of the old town in Alfama (the second oldest neighborhood in Europe) and 2 minutes away from Baixa / Chiado (center). Next to the apartments you will find small restaurants, fado places, supermarket, pastries and all the shops you need. Praça do Comércio (the main square is 3 minutes away from you) and Castelo de São Jorge is located at 5m walking distance, so you can easily visit the historic and comercial areas, and have privileged access to public transport to any part of the city.
