The apartment is located in picturesque Alfama. One of the main shopping streets, Rua Augusta in Baixa, is a 10 minute walk. The Fado museum is less than 100 meters away. Wonderful shops and nice restaurants are at your doorstep, yet the evenings are very peaceful around the apartment on a secluded side street. Portas de Alfama is a 3 Floor, 2 Bedroom independent property located in the center of Lisbon with amazing private balcony. Located just a short stroll from the Lisbon Cathedral, the Baixa neighborhood, Sao Jorge Castle and the historic city center, you cannot find a better Lisbon experience. The house has three (3) floors, with two (2) bedrooms and two and half (2.5) bathrooms. There is also a private balcony with views of Alfama to the river. The home is equipped with air conditioning throughout. The first floor includes a fully equipped kitchen, living room and half bathroom. The second floor has a bedroom with double bed, private bathroom with shower. The top floor has another bedroom with double bed and a full bathroom with shower. On this floor there is a balcony with river view. The view is outstanding and you can actually hear “Fado” from the balcony.

Alfama is the most famed and historic neighborhood in Lisbon. The original district, growing organically from the base of the city's Sao Jorge Castle. Modern-day Alfama is a typical, lively neighborhood with a collection of Fado restaurants, bars, cafes and traditional shopping.
