I am a former teacher who decided to change her life. So "The Aqueduct's Guesthouse" appears as a "plan B for the rest of my life"!!!
Being a "people's person", who loves to talk, specially about Évora and the magnificent Alentejo, this is the perfect job for me!
I love animals, I love traveling ... and I love to receive in my house people from the four corners of the world, who also can tell me a little about their enchanted lands and, like that, it's almost if I travel a bit everyday :)

Family house, ready to be shared with nice people that, luckily, become friends!
In one of the most beautiful squares of Évora's historic center, right next to the Ancient Aqueduct, which is one of the monuments of this beautiful Unesco world heritage city.
This is a very old house, restaured but where we decided to keep the old details that give the house its soul. Also for decoration, we tryed, as most as possible, to find old furnitures "stolen" from ours Greatparents and Parents homes...
Be aware that there is no kitchen available, only a kitchnette/Dining room where you can prepare small/light meals or heat pre-cooked meals, but not to cook (there is a fridge, a micro-wave, a coffe machine, a toaster and an electric kettle as well as dishes, bowls, cutlery, cups, glasses, table, chairs...). This area, as well as the roof top terrace, is shared by the guests of all the rooms.
About the parking, we don't have a parking of our own. In our little square there are parking places, but, as in all the historic center, it's only for residents or with payed tickets (between 8:30 am and 7:30 pm, from Monday to friday and Saturdays untill 2:30 pm,being free during the evening/night and Saturdays afternoon as well as Sundays all day), but there are some big and completly free parkings only 5 minutes walking from our door. We'll give more detailed informations about parking spots, after reservations are made but already let us tell you that usually is not difficult to find where to park and that even inside the ancient walls is not expensive at all but also the free places are very close to the Guesthouse so parking is normally no problem.

We are right next to the Ancient Aqueduct and 10 minutes walking from the Cathedral , from the Roman Temple, from the old building of the University or from the Bones Chapel... well, as you will see, inside the historic center you are never more than 10/15 minutes walking from anywhere!!
The main square of the city, called "Giraldo Square", is less than 10 minutes walking from here, so we can say that the "Aqueduct Guesthouse" is in a is a privileged location.
About the parking, in our little square, as well as in the streets around, there are parking places, but, as in all the historic center, it's only for residents or with payed tickets (between 8:30 am and 7:30 pm, from Monday to friday and Saturdays between 8:30 am and 2:30 pm - beeing free Saturdays afternoon as well as Sundays all day), but, and because we are close to the edge of the Ancient Walls, there are a few free parkings around, outside the historic center but only 5 minutes walking from our door.
