Vale da Telha is located in the Southwest Alentejo and Vicentine Coast Natural Park, overlooking the Atlantic. It is a quiet and relaxed area for nature lovers, surfers and hikers. The breathtaking cliff views, pristine beaches and the ever-present breezy Atlantic are the highlights you will not forget. Around Yucca Garden: - Within walkable distance there are hiking coastal trails with breathtaking views and below the cliffs, an accessible secluded beach, Praia do Medo da Fonte Santa. - A 5 minute drive away 3 gorgeous, scenic beaches with great surfing conditions and easy access: Praia da Arrifana, Praia de Monte Clérigo and Praia da Amoreira. - Around 20-30 minutes away are several more amazing beaches: Praia de Odeceixe, Praia do Vale dos Homens, Praia da Carriagem, Praia da Carrapateira and Praia do Amado. - Ponta da Piedade in Lagos is a must-see rock formation. - Cape Saint Vincent in Sagres is the most southwestern point in Europe, with an amazing coastal cliff viewpoint. Parking on the street by the house is easy, free and safe. Getting around requires a car as the nearest town is Aljezur, 10km away. Public transport exists but is not very frequent.
