Praslin is a small island off Mahe. Our hotel, Heliconia Grove is situated at Anse Volbert between the villages of Baie St Anne and Cote d'Or. Yes, we have supermarkets, restaurants and a take away which are within walking distance from the hotel. We can organize taxis from the jetty or airport to the hotel. Airport to hotel : Euro 30 per way, Euro 20 per way from jetty to hotel which you settle with the driver. Car hire : Euro 45 per day/24 hours. We have buses passing by and can provide you with a time table. Also we can advise you on excursions/snorkling or diving to the nearby islands or visit the Vallee de Mai nature reserve and Fond Ferdinand and other beaches.
We have security on our premises every night and our compound is quite safe.
The villas are a few paces from the beach, where the children can play, swim and build sandcastles.
