This is a house in an Eco-Village, all wood, solar panels and a range of other ecological features. The Village is surrounded by trees and it is car-free. Calm and quiet, like a rest home. The house gives a very nice feeling. Catch the morning sun on the patio on one side of the house and the afternoon sun on the opposite patio.
This environment, so close to the city 12 minutes by metro, is unique. Guests enjoy being here and so do we who live here, you can´t buy a house here rarely does anybody move away. Most of us who designed and built the Village in 1995 still live here. There isn´t a better place to live in Stockholm.
The host works with tropical rain forest conservation in the Brazilian Amazon in a Swedish NGO. He likes having guests from all over the world since guests love staying here.
He has a great interest in longevity/anti-aging/health.
Next to the Eco-Village is a large nature reserve with forest trails for walking and running. 20 minutes walk to the first lake and 35 minutes to the third lake that has a sauna open every day. From that place buses depart regularly for the city so you don´t have to walk back.
Between the Eco-Village and the metro station 8 minutes walk away is a relaxed neighborhood from the 1950:s.
Close by is a nice restaurant, Jesses Krog, and a World Heritage Site, The Woodland Cemetery (Skogskyrkogården).
