日本「夜は怪しい地区に近いと聞いていたので、覚悟していたが、料金が安いので利用した。 結果としてホテルは怪しい地区からは少し離れている為か、危険はほとんど感じなかった。 この界隈は労働者の集合場所のようで、24時間営業の安価でおいしい食堂が結構あります。 観光客が集まるガーデンシティーとシンガポールの底辺を支える人たちの生活が両方体験 出来て有意義な滞在でした」
