In 2016 we bought a plot of land in a new development area and started construction. The building was then completed in 2018. We, the house owners, live on the ground floor. On the upper floor there are two apartments that we rent to travelers. The larger apartment is particularly suitable for families with children. There are also toys for the children. The somewhat smaller apartment is often booked by tourists and business travellers. The terrace can be used by both apartments. You can also grill there.

We are a multicultural family. My wife is Senegalese and was born and raised in Ziguinchor. I myself, the husband, come from Germany and only moved to Senegal a few years ago. We have 3 children together, the two youngest of whom are still in school.

Our accommodation is located in the university area of ​​Ziguinchor within sight of the airport. It is a very quiet area with a typical African town centre. Several small shops are in the immediate vicinity. Bus lines 1 and 2 go from here to downtown Ziguinchor. There is parking for cars in front of our house.
