My travels have taken me to many beautiful corners of the world, but Concepción de Ataco has a special place in my heart. As your host, I love sharing the magic of Ataco with others-from hidden trails and local art to the best spots for coffee and pupusas. I'm happy to offer tips and suggestions to make your stay unforgettable.
Ataco is ideal for travelers that enjoy photography, exploring, cultural experiences and good coffee. The town is walkable, but you can also take rides in motor taxis for short rides or to nearby trails. The streets are lined with locally-owned cafes, pupuserias, and craft shops selling handwoven textiles, ceramics and woodwork. Music and festivals are common especially on weekends.
