Pua Tranquil Vista Homestay provides a superior accommodation and breakfast experience for travelers to northern Nan province. We have three air-conditioned guestrooms, each with a private bathroom and 32" television. We are able to host up to eight guests.
Two large guest rooms, a guest only living room and terrace with views of mountains, valleys and rice fields are on level 2. A third smaller guest room is on level 1. It is suitable for two guests or a driver/guide. Contact us if required for your driver/guide.
We only accept one group per night and sometimes close rooms where we would prefer a smaller group on a particular day.
We have free undercover parking, free Wi-Fi, a 55" television in the living room and free water, tea, coffee, milk (for the hot drinks) and ice. There is seating for all guests on the terrace. In the living room there are sofas, a kitchenette, refrigerator, dining area, northern Thailand and Nan province maps, a sound system, board games and playing cards.
Our standard rate includes an afternoon tea on arrival and a choice of two breakfasts with fresh ground coffee, English, green or jasmine tea, Ovaltine and a seasonal fruit platter. Both our breakfasts are served with your choice of fresh made bread or baguettes still warm from our oven. Our continental breakfast includes Greek yogurt and muesli. Our sausages light breakfast includes chicken or pork sausages and scrambled eggs. In fact guests may select any or all of the items from both breakfasts.
We are pet friendly and will allow up to a total of three dogs or cats. Contact us first to confirm.
We have four good quality bicycles for guests to explore our local area.
I'm a Thai ex-nurse married to an Australian. In the past decade we have lived in Singapore, Dubai, Brisbane and Phoenix and traveled many places. We now move to Pua to enjoy a quiet life and clean air in the green mountains, growing organic fruit and vegetables and looking after our Labrador dogs. We often include our own fruit in the breakfast fruit platters.
Our infection control procedures and processes have been certified by the Ministry of Health. Since the pandemic we started accepting only one guest group per night and due to guest feedback we have continued to do this.
We are six kilometers to the east of Pua on a low ridge that comes down from the Luang Prabang mountains. We are on road number 1371 that connects roads 1256 (Pua-Bo Kluea) and 1081 (Pua-towards Santi Suk). GPS coordinates are 19.162544, 100.950390.
We are ideally placed for travelers to explore the national parks, waterfalls, lookouts, rainforests and temples of northern Nan province Thailand.
