Galata is a lovely neighborhood of Beyoglu district, surrounded by Karaköy, Eminönü, İstiklal Street and Çukurcuma neighborhoods, where historic and modern architecture come together. Famous for its fantastic Galata Tower, that is topped with a witch’s hat roof, the Kuledibi (means “bottom of tower”) area with its sweet narrow streets housing variety of lovely cafes, unique shops, popular bars and restaurants.
