There is an abundance or wild flowers in and around the area of Uzumlu. Uzumlu has all the charm of a traditional working Turkish village that hasn’t as yet surrendered its character to tourism. At its heart is the village square from which you can meander around the narrow streets to observe the fine old Ottoman style houses. Sometimes you can stop and watch the women performing their craft of weaving pure cotton on old wooden looms which they sell to tourists to provide themselves with a valuable income.
