We offer guests who stay for longer periods, a free leisure experience "road trip" to any part of Tobago. The name La Casa de Castara is not to be construed as spanish in occupancy. On the contrary it is owned and operated by Trinbagonians. The name was chosen predominantly because of its charm "a beautiful name for a beautiful place". On arrival at the facility you will be met by a member of our team usually Shurland, who lives next door. Shurland is a charismatic and versatile young woman who will ensure that your stay is peaceful and rewarding. 2 2

La casa de Castara boasts one of the largest single guest house units in the village of Castara, Tobago. We offer a newly constructed building that is built to current codes yet preserving that rustic country appeal. The building is outfitted with new modern facilities and amenities for your comfort. The upper floor includes two self-contained single bedroom apartments, along with one family sized two (2) bedroom apartment which includes a loft. The ground floor consists of two single bedroom apartments and two studio apartments. A large exotic balcony projecting from the entire length and breadth of the building entices you with its rustic finish to relax, have a drink and absorb the stunning view of the lush rain forest and the sapphire blue waters of the iconic Castara beach. The location of the facility is epic as it stands in the epicenter of the village of castara. You literally only have to step onto the roadway outside of your accomodation and you are in center stage with all amenities and entertainment surrounding you .

Unspoiled soft sandy beaches, lush rain forest, sapphire blue waters, laid back atmosphere, cordial and helpful people, relaxation. If you enjoy diving, there are several dive sites filled with reefs, coral and marine life just a short distance away. Tobago’s mountainous northern main ridge which adjoins Castara hosts some of the most incredible waterfalls and rock lined pools. It also boasts tropical flora and fauna with hundreds of birds species that attracts thousands of visitors annually. All this coupled with local cultural activities and attractions namely Bonfire Thursdays, Boat Tours, Hiking, Local cuisine, Restaurant & Bars, Dirt Oven bread and pastries, Seasonal activities experience{ Night market, Boat race, Heritage shows} Fishermans day celebrations and fresh seafood makes Castara the perfect destination for visitors like you who want to fill their holiday with excitement and memories, Much of these activities are just a cool one to two minutes stroll from La Casa de Castara, The location of the facility is epic, as it stands in the epicenter of the village of Castara. The Waterfall is just a mere ten to fifteen minutes hike. There is also an ATM Machine and a Health Centre a stones throw away.
