Marafiki Bungalows is located on the beach in Kiwengwa,overlooking the ocean.Zanzibar International Airport is a 1 hour drive away.
The rooms are housed in traditional bungalow units, featuring local Zanzibari architecture and dried palm leaves for roofing. The furniture is locally crafted and the interiors are complemented with ocean-coloured overlays created using traditional looms.
Guests can enjoy local and European cuisine at the restaurant, followed by a drink at the bar, both overlooking the ocean and infinity pool.
The area offers plenty of various activities, including snorkeling, diving or kite surfing.
