Company information

My name is Margaret and I am a single mother from northern Uganda. I started out at Acacia Villa helping on the cleaning staff and have since worked my way to being the director. I live with my children near the property and oversee the day to day operations. All our staff and myself are Ugandans so when you book with us you are directly supporting the Ugandan community. We promise our villa is the best deal in Kampala. I have talked to many of our guests who stayed in other hotels and homestays before finding us and all agree Acacia Villa provides by far the best service and accommodation. Great service, awesome views and cleanliness are our specialties. We also work with tour companies here in Uganda so can help you book transport or safaris in any of Uganda's 10 beautiful national parks.

Welcome to our peaceful villa in the exclusive, safe neighborhood of Upper Mawanda Road less than a 5 minute walk to Acacia mall and all the best restaurants in Kampala. Our house is such a rare find as you will be very central, while also in a peaceful private compound up on one of Kampala's 7 beautiful hills. What we offer: Free Ugandan Breakfast, with real Ugandan coffee and tea Unlimited Fiber-Optic Wifi - Very strong in ALL rooms unlike other Airbnb's where it only works in certain rooms. Easy to stream Netflix or Social Media On-call car or boda (moto) service (paid by guest but we have a driver that offers the best prices) Full time caretaker who can help with bags, recommend places to eat, or hangout with if you're bored, 24/7 security personnel - Extremely secure neighborhood, compound and house. An excellent Ugandan breakfast is included, and we also have cooking supplies in our newly renovated kitchen for you to use.

Neighbourhood information

Our neighborhood is Upper Mawanda Road perfectly situated in the heart of uptown with an under 5 minute walk to Acacia Mall. Unlike Mawanda Road or the other locations around Acacia, Upper Mawanda has almost no traffic, no honking, and is super quiet & peaceful. In addition we have an excellent view of the city. Our road is paved with lots of green and trees around up away from the dusty, hectic streets in other neighborhoods.
