Welcome to The Schapteau! This classic home is located in the heart of the Historic District in Cape May. The Schapteau greets you with gorgeous gardens and a beautiful front porch where you can enjoy your morning coffee and the salt air. Inside there is a spacious living room that features plenty of comfortable seating for evening relaxing. Just beyond the living room is the large dining room to enjoy your family meals. You can access the kitchen from either end of the dining room. The kitchen is well equipped and even has a coffee and breakfast bar with seating for four. Just outside of the kitchen there is a butlers pantry fully stocked with all your glassware. The first floor is complete with a bedroom. This first floor bedroom includes a twin bed and a private bathroom with tiled shower. On the Second floor there are four bedrooms. The Master suite has a king size bed and a Jack and Jill bathroom that includes a tub and shower combination. Connected by the Jack and Jill bathroom is bedroom three. This bedroom includes a day bed with trundle. Just down the hall you will find bedroom four which is complete with a full size bed. Bedroom five includes a queen size bed. There is an updated hallway bathroom with a shower and tub combination for the guests to share. Off the second floor is a covered deck where you can enjoy the live music from doors down or a good book. On the third floor there are two matching twin rooms and a half bathroom in the hallway. Outside enjoy a private outside shower and a private yard. There are two parking spots in the shared driveway. The home includes beach chairs, beach umbrellas and some beach toys. This home is pet friendly and accepts pets 25 lbs and under.
