Cute, private, detached, Country French guesthouse located on 12, heavily treed, acres with a seasonal creek. One queen bed in bedroom, and one queen foldout sofa bed in living room. Extra floor mattresses are available for additional guests. Secluded and peaceful with lots of wildlife in a quiet neighborhood. Beautiful views. Gorgeous sunrises/sets. There are one free ranging horse and 4 cats on property. Our dog and chickens are behind fence at the main house. Property is rugged, uneven, hilly, with loose gravel/rocks/etc. - use caution. Guests may walk and explore the property except for owner's residence and inside the fenced backyard. Keep in mind, you’re in the country. You might encounter deer, critters, chiggers, scorpions, flies, mosquitoes, snakes, fire ants, opossums, skunks, armadillos, birds, wild turkeys, etc. As one happy guest said: "The pictures don't do it justice."

We're a quiet family of four. The main house is far enough away from the guesthouse that you mostly won't see or hear us and we mostly won't see or hear you. We wish on you to enjoy the privacy, solitude, and peacefulness. We wish on you to enjoy the sunrises and sunsets. We wish on you to experience the birds and the wildlife, and to meet our friendly, free roaming horse. If you like to pray or meditate, there's a perfect spot for that, too. You're welcome to barbeque and/or have a bonfire. At least one of us is home most of the time, and I can always be reached by text or cellphone if there are any questions or concerns.

If you like to walk or run, you may also do so on the main street of our neighborhood. It is approximately 3 miles roundtrip, and a beautiful walk/run. The neighborhood is very quiet. All neighbors are very friendly and some walk their dogs early in the morning on the main road. You'll need transportation to get around. Main street/downtown Boerne is only a quick 4-5 miles from us. HEB grocery store is 7 miles away, and so is Walmart. Boerne Lake is 8 miles; Luckenbach 27 miles: Sisterdale 11 miles; Fredericksburg 37 miles; Bandera 33 miles; Fiesta Texas/Six Flags 25 miles; SeaWorld 39 miles; Comfort 20 miles; Kerrville 38 miles; Guadalupe River State Park 16 miles; San Antonio River Walk 42 miles; The Rim Shopping Center 25 miles; The Shops at La Cantera 27 miles away.
